Conference Tracks

The theme this year revolves around neuroimaging and cardiothoracic imaging in collaboration with AIRP speakers, as well as Body imaging in partnership with Prof Khaled Elsayes, MD Anderson Cancer Center

  1. Neuroimaging will discuss various space-occupying lesions of the sella and orbit and imaging cases with cognitive decline. The course will shed light on CT perfusion and Artificial intelligence (AI) in acute stroke and 3D printing in planning maxillofacial surgeries.
  2. Cardiothoracic imaging will discuss benign and malignant pulmonary conditions, including lung cancer screening initiative in Saudi Arabia and lung Disease post-COVID-19 Era! This is in addition to a dedicated cardiac imaging session.
  3. Abdominal imaging will encompass a variety of updates on imaging abdominopelvic malignancies and the role of dual-energy CT in imaging.
  4. Tailored sessions and workshops will include subspecialties like Pediatric, Breast, and Musculoskeletal imaging.

With the growth of businesses in Radiology, the strive for quality and safety and the need for strong leaders in the field, this track will focus on essential topics related to:

  1. Business in Radiology: Strategic thinking, Financial management, Business planning, Workforce planning, Measuring performance, Reimbursement models, Academia and business, PI: Lean, agile ..etc
  2. Quality management
  3. Leadership skills

There will be a focus on some AI applications in the various aspects of radiology services and imaging interpretations:

  1. AI application in subspecialties
  2. AI in the workflow (imaging appropriateness, patient flow, radiation dosages, predicting outcome, targeted therapy)
  3. Evolving imaging technologies in CT and MR imaging. Example of photon counting… etc.
